I bid on a welder that was on an online auction and won it. The thing is that I'm in San Diego and the welder is in Sacramento. All I really want from the thing is the wire feeder not the power supply which weighs about 600lbs. I paid $300 for the thing and would pass it along to another mudder for that cost if they can go get it though. The power supply is 3 phase. Pickup needs to be next week Tuesday to Thursday in Rancho Cordova.
I am guessing that there is easily a few hundred dollars in copper in the power supply if somoene wanted to scrap it.
Here are the scenarious I am considering.
1. I will sell the whole setup to someone who wants it for the $300 I paid.
2. You pick up and send me the wire feeder, I pay for the shipping and you can have the power supply for free to do with what you will.
