The Patrol is back in the shop. Getting the A-Pillar lights raised, rear camping light mount installed, molding around the diamond plating put in, rear table refined, front blinker light fixed, and passenger seat re-installed. Should be out by Wednesday.

Got the Patrol back today. Only the A-pillar and rear camping light mount was installed. The shop also fixed both my driver and passenger side doors, which didn't close flush. I will be bringing her back in after a week or two. I head to the capital tomorrow and then am taking a few days off to explore around the Coban and Peten area.

When you get back, what else are you going to have them do?

Also, maybe I mis-read, but I thought you wanted the pillar light to be raised a bit. Am I wrong? Cause it looks like they just put them back where they were?

Glad to hear you have your rig back, and have an exploration trip planned. Will the trip be a solo trip, or are you planning on going with a group?

I was planning an exploration trip this weekend, but i came down with a really bad cold. In the middle of summer! The worst... If I feel better, I do it anyway. We'll just have to see how I feel.

Wow, really nice! Love the vid and pics. Just one suggestion though... You need to invest in a high clearance rear bumper, and some rocksliders soon. To bad I live so far away. I'd build them for ya.

I'm planning to do a chop with the rear bumper and put in a tube bumper. As far as the rock rails, definitely going to be putting them on. Here are more pics. This time from my trip to the beach. And on en route to, I got a call from the ARB dealer in Guatemala City that my order is officially in country. It should be cleared from customs today or tomorrow.

Really cool man! Are you on Instagram? I just recently set up an account, and a huge majority of my photos are going up on there. I still plan on posting a select number on my thread too. If you're posting on there though, I'd like to see them. Thanks

Good to hear about your imports too. Hope you get to put them on soon!

Yes, I'm on Instagram as mvbroady. Find me and I'll start following you. Here's a pic my colleague took. Really digging the photo.

Just confirmed with the ARB shop in Guatemala City that I will be dropping off the Patrol on Thursday for the installation of the OME 2" suspension and ARB body armor. Super excited! It's supposed to be ready by NLT March 23.

Well, they said it would take up to 5 business days. Based on experience, add another week and that's when the work is complete.

I understand. That's how it is here too. It's just so many days without your rig for a few simple bolt on items. I'd hope that in 8, maybe 12 hrs (taking into account rusted bolts, stripped heads, etc...) they could have the whole project done. I know it wouldn't take me more than 2, maybe 3 days at the schedule that I'm doing. I know you're right. I just haven't figured out yet how all this time is used in Latin America. LOL.
