Well, here we go with another one... I got this trailer a couple years ago for $750. It's sat in my backyard since. It's finally time to restore it into a camper trailer I can tow behind my Jeep TJ Rubicon.
Today I got started on dissembling the trailer.. I plan to install a new Dexter electric axle with 33" x 12.5" KM2's mounted on Cragar Soft 8's, to match my Wrangler. Build tube fenders to account for wider tires and styling of Jeep. Por15 for frame. Paint-match body to Wranglers Light Khaki Metallic. Bedliner for inside of bed. Fabricate a top for it.
BTW, my new Hitachi cordless impact wrench had no trouble taking the pintle hook off in 2 seconds. I thought that nut would give it trouble, considering it probably hasn't been touched in 50+ yrs..
