I've seen that one a time or two before. I still wonder what the original application was for that build. Maybe vending machine delivery?

That said, I have been reading tutorials on frame section removal, incorporating "step notch", "ship lap" or "Z channel" joining methods.

Add to that effort a shorter drive shaft from the SWB Fuso FG, shorter brake lines, and a wiring harness mod, and it all looks very possible indeed.

I think you can also get frame repair sections that'll slide right into the C channel frames. Would make a cut/weld even easier, and still strong. I'd probably just get a local shop to shorten the driveshaft, rather than finding a stocker.
