Fast and light Expo???

I'm happy somebody on Expo posted this.
The Ariel Atom is a brilliant car, and the Ariel Nomad is my idea of the best toy ever invented.

Why is the steering wheel on the wrong side... Horrible engineering!

Not sure if it would be Expo, but it would be fun back country slamming.

Looking at it, I assume it is RWD only? I do not see a reference about the drive. Would be kick *** in AWD.

The wheel is on the correct side for driving on the correct side of the road, however some less well developed countries seem to drive on the incorrect side of the road:):)

Fast and light?

I've certainly got fast covered, it's kinda porky though.

The rear seats fold down and provide more rear cargo room than my Land Rover Discovery. It's on coilovers so I can raise it up pretty high if needed.
Makes a little over 400awhp on e85.

Both the Ariel cars list "Ambidextrous chassis" in the specs under "Options/General". Click the link and it says:

"Steering and pedal mounts for both left and right hand drive on your (Atom or Nomad depending which page you're on) chassis enabling you to switch if you spend longer periods of time on the continent. Takes around 8 hours to change from one hand to the other."
