I've been told by others that July is NOT the best time to do this!!

If you want to wait till 2008 though I could be interested in July!

Yes, it's extremely hot in July so logically speaking, it's not a good time. However, September might be a good time of year and I'd be very interested in going then. April isn't good for me only because of prior trip commitments, however I would be thrilled to join on a trip such as this later this fall or in 2008 so keep me posted! By the way, I live in Houston so I'm not too terribly far from the border (we could arrange a good meeting place near Big Bend or so).
