I'm thinking of driving from Uyuni to San Pedro de Atacama through la Reserva Eduardo Avaroa. My question is this, it's the rainy season and my F350 is only rated to ford up to the hubs, ie, not very deep. From what i read online there's some air intake which is quite low on a 2000 F350. I've read online that there are several fords you have to do in that route. I'm wondering if anybody has done it in the rainy season (Feb) and could tell us how deep the fords actually are.
