Are you prepared?

• Are you prepared to be able to respond to a First Aid Emergency in the back-country? • As outdoor enthusiasts, it is essential to be trained in Wilderness First Aid

Who Should Attend?
This class is essential for all Hikers, Mountain Bikers, Trail Leaders, River Guides, Park Rangers, Boy & Girl Scout leaders and for anyone who spends time in the back-country more than an hour away from an ambulance or hospital.

Where is it?
Class will be held at 2255 Highway 1, Bodega Bay Community Center
Class begins on Saturday March 21st & Sunday March 22nd promptly at 8:00 am and ends at 5:00 pm both days. Certifications will be mailed to participants who complete the 16 hour class.

What is it?
This is a fun and fast-paced 16- hour class where you will learn the essentials for Back-Country & Remote First Aid emergencies.
Come prepared to be both a “victim” and a responder. We will be creating several real-life scenarios that are appropriate to several outdoor recreation sports - including hiking, mountain biking, rock climbing, kayaking, horse travel, remote surfing, fishing and remote job sites.

Details?
Certifications in Wilderness First Aid and CPR will come through the American Red Cross and are valid for 2 years. All materials, books and snacks are supplied.
Cost is $250.00 per person.
