After having our second child 3 weeks ago, the family and I packed up and went camping down in Gulf Shores this past weekend for a trial run. Right now the only thing I have done to it is put a tonneau cover on it, rack attached to the top of the cover using Yakima Products. The tires are 235/85/16 bfg's, and the wheels are a spare set of factory steel wheels that I picked up on craigslist and had them powder coated. The dent in the door came from a mall crawling trip to REI. Came out of the store and a buggy had apparently rolled down a hill and nailed the side of the door, good times no doubt.

I likey this idea! I had been thinking about doing something similar on top of my undercover tonneau. It seemed like it would be strong enough to hold a basket. I'd love to learn more about how you did this. Do you have a build thread for it?

It is a Kennesaw Mountain Accessory bumper.... "wincher" or something like that. I was happy with customer service there, unlike some. The fit & finish of the bumper is rather... well, meh... but I can't argue with what I wanted: big, ugly, strong, and some holes for lights. That's what I got

A couple of cool Nissan GQ ute camper pics I took on a trip last year. The guy that owns it travels around in it by himself. He has it set up just perfect for himself.

A LHD GU camper that came into work a couple of months back to get us to build him a new bash plate. An Austrian couple IIRC on a RTW trip. The interior is a bit messy but they had been ratting around trying to find something inside.
