Both cabstar trucks have the same suspension system. The second one has tougher shocks and the frame is a bit stiffer. It is reinforced with additional support pieces, that is the only difference. Mine crosses axles even a bit better. They are similar to the Mitsubishi Fuso but they are a bit smaller and lighter. They are designed to be 4.5 tons but these ones are homologated as light weight vehicle under 3.5 tons. A reasonable light weight camper (3.2m x 2m with a pop-up roof to fit in a container) can be easily mounted on a subframe. With the camper, it can still be under the 3.5 tons limit and this has many advantages here in Europe. The cab over system makes it a very good option as a light weight overland vehicle for families (the camper can be 1m longer than on a def 130 crew cab for instance, which is a reference here for families).
We are both running BF mud KM2 255/85 on 16" rims.
