America is scared of diesel and practicality. We also dont get Defenders, Hilux or any of the good land cruisers.

Well Look to good old California for the smog rules.. Thats why the US doesnt get any cool imported Diesels.

You are going to see Nissan start pushing the diesels with the next gen of trucks..

    Default RTT

I installed the RTT from Tepui and took it on a couple trips. It's been really nice!

The RTT looks great. Did the mounting hardware work straight out of the box? I have been contemplating a RTT solo or with the bans expo rack.

Not with the Xterra's stock rack. I had to go to the hardware store for longer bolts and some larger pieces of steel plate.

    Default "Yoda"

    Hey all,

I have recently modified our roof rack to be mounted on our Pathy "Yoda" and as such, have been able to mount our CVT roof-top tent to it. I thought I'd post some photos of Yoda, flexing and practicing for our upcomming, late-summer jaunt to the Canadian rockies and then South to Arizona's Grand Canyon. (I hope to have photos of that trip up sometime in late September...

Ove the next couple of days, I will post a couple of photos of Yoda on our July 1st trip to the Stemwinder campgrounds between Princeton and Hedley, BC.

And yes, Yoda is Forest Green and needs shocks and struts...coming this July, probaly going with the A/C heavy-duty F&R kit to better handle the extra weight of the tent and camping equipment.
