door edge guards

hey guys-
i have an '05 taco and have recently removed the front flaps. being in new england i feard i would start to see some natural sandblasting going on. not much fortunately, but i would like to put some small edge guards on the lower corners of my doors. i have seen another taco with them as well as my fathers tundras, both came that way from the dealer. any recommendations for something that will go on without being to fugly? also, a buddy has a similar guard on the lower, leading edge of his bed in front of the rear door on his F-150. right above his steb tube basically. where are the new england guys on this one?

I had the color keyed door edge guards on for a long time, eventually the silver wore off and they had to go.

Stay away from the clear ones since they collect the dirt inside and will look like hell after a while.

i have seen the full length style, but i am looking for coverage just on the lower corners of the doors. I hate the way the full length looks.
