2006 Jeep Commander Site

I have been looking for a replacement for my Isuzu Trooper for about six months, and am particularly interested in a 6-7 passenger solution. The new Jeep Commander is certainly appealing to me.

Here are a few details that stand out to me:

Payload: 1,620 lbs.
Towing: 7,200 lbs.
Quadradrive II with electric locking diffs (electronically controlled clutch packs)

Some of the concerns:
20 gallon fuel capacity
19 mpg highway with the V6...



I also like the classic look.

I'm sure Scott will post up but I think he bought a JK Unlimited instead. This post was before the JK's were out. I also know he bought a Land Rover too.
