insulation against motor heat for truck cab

hi, wondering if anybody knows the right and long lasting material I could use to replace the insulation on my truck Isuzu Elf 150.
That's a type where you sit on top of the motor.
The insulation material has falling off and you won't
believe how hot the drivers seat becomes.
Even thou AC is running good, it becomes dangerous, because it makes sleepy.
So I am looking for something flexibly that glues or sticks above motor
under and onto the "bonnet".

thanks for any ideas

If the heat is that severe you might consider interposing a sheet metal heat shield between the cab floor and the exaust pipe / catalytic / whatever the hot spot is.
And you might want to make adetailed inspection underneath to find out why it's happening in the first place. That much heat shouldn't be 'normal'.
There are recycled rag content thermal / noise blankets / carpet kit underlayment made for vehicles, often in generic 6'x3' blankets that you can trim to fit wherever you need them. They usually have a metallized layer on one face. but better to block the heat from reaching the cab metal in the first place.
