Does LHD really 10k to the sticker price because it seems to me that a Prado like that should be no more than $5000 otherwise and $8500 as a serious stretch

From what I've seen, the Turbo Diesel is why it has the inflated price. They are hard to come by in the U.S. Though I wouldn't pay that for it. I would just look for either a gas powered one or look for a U.S. diesel. Suburban or Dodge. Possible one of the military K5 Blazer Diesels.

if thats a rust free LHD turbo diesel, and assuming you can knock him down the usual 20%, youre only a few G more than a rust free RHD turbodiesel.

if thats body by bondo and scaly a frame, its just overpriced no matter what the wheel configuration. i would think for that money, if the truck were clean he'd be smart enough to post close ups and underbody.
