I purchased my second truck, after selling my 1994 Dodge Ram 2500 Cummins. I loved that power plant, but needed more wheel base / cab room for what I primarily use my truck for; towing. My truck serves as a Daily Driver / Tow Vehicle so I was after something a little more modern and comfortable enough for my 80-mile commute. After two weeks of searching, I found my candidate... 1999 Ford F-250 Ext. Cab 7.3 PSD. The truck was a one owner, older gentlemen, who always had the truck serviced at the local Ford dealer. I was stoked and able to pay a very affordable price for the truck... the rest has been history! Here's what the truck looked like when I picked it up. Clean, straight body. Canopy. Lariat Edition. Banks Exhaust. Edge Tune (Tow setting). 179,xxx miles.

I got the truck home and immediately put it to use for commuting. A few days later, I was greeted with a nice green fluid drop underneath.

Luckily, a friend of mine is a Master Mechanic at a local Ford dealer so I sent it up his way to get it repaired. Water Pump, Thermostat, Thermostat Housing, Upper & Lower Radiator Hoses, Coolant, Transfer Case serviced, Differentials serviced, Sway Bay Links and Brackets replaced, etc. The vehicle was thoroughly looked over and baselined. A few other side notes: 3:73 Gears, new factory Ford transmission installed at 160,xxx miles, under carriage and frame coated with a protective black liner.

I cannot stand mis-matched tires, and they were getting down the the wear bars. I decided that a new sets of tread would be in order so I headed down to our local Discount Tire, whom price-matched a set of LT265/75/16 LRE BFG All Terrains T/A KO2s for me.

This is how the truck sits now. I am currently looking for a place to mount my ScanGauge2, as well scheming of ideas of how to make the bed area sleep-comfortable for my fiancé and I this summer.
