Looking to finish my sleeping platform

and the way it is installed in my Suburban, it would be a pain in the butt to remove it to paint it or use roll on bed liner. My question is, is it safe to use either black crinkle finish spray paint or spray can bed liner while it's in my truck? How long should I let it air out before I drive it?

I think it would be better to wait a bit for hot weather, to help speed up the curing / outgassing. And leave the vehicle wide open with some fans blowing thru it for a couple days. I'd sure open all the windows and air it out in the morning before getting in and driving it somewhere. And DON'T use the ventilation system and draw those vapors into your ductwork.

But I really wouldn't do it. Just not worth having that stink saturate everything. I'd go to the trouble of removing it and set it up on some sawhorses.
