This thing is a beauty. How hard was it removing the window trim without damaging it? I need to do some preventative maintenance around the windshield to keep the rust at bay.

Thanks!

He said the door window and front windshield trim came off pretty easy, I believe it just pries off. He didn't remove any of the other trim. Thanks for the compliments!

Evan and I are thinking about going on a cross country camping trip to Northern Cali and maybe beyond this spring, so he checked out this camper. Not sure if he will get it, sounded like it needs lots of work

He modified this toolbox he had lying around from a bed rail mount to a chest type

Evan did some work on the bumpers recently...

Recovery points and light cutouts

And he made some more progress on the rear bumper as well

Thanks amg! The most exciting thing happening here is mold growing in the bathrooms ha

Evan got the bumper finished up, it is looking really good!

I am not a Ford guy but your cousin is doing a great job. Truck looks great!

And thank you for your service. Stay safe and I hope you get to enjoy it with him soon.

Every once in awhile I question my thoughts on doing stuff to my older, high mileage vehicles: like putting a plate steel bumper, or regearing and larger tires on my 2000 with 190,000 miles. Seeing threads like this really doesn't help.

Well, I wound up finding a 1960s Avion camper that Evan picked up for me and has started working on. I want to find a suitable rig for the camper to live on, but until then it will live on Evan's truck.

I have started a thread for the camper over here

^ I was thinking it'd look awesome with a well done aluminum flat deck, external storage boxes to take up the box-side space on the camper, very very slick.

I am definitely wanting to get a longbed, either a bricknose or OBS. F350, manual and probably IDI, but it depends what I can find.

Aluminum flatbed as you said Pete would be my dream setup!

Better get a longbed! That thing is super cool. It would look awesome on an extra cab long bed.
