After having a ton of fun restoring and riding this bike, I am putting it up for a potential sale. Don't need to sell, but I am looking at a move and would like to make some room. Bike is located in Ft Worth Texas. Please email me with specific questions, but here is a rundown of the bike and what's been done to it recently:

2006 Ural Patrol - Raven - this was the limited all black model they did that year.
Roughly 20K Miles - 30K Kilometers. This bike has been well ridden and well loved.

In the past 18 months, here is what I have done:

- New wheel bearings throughout.
- Rebuilt the final drive. Replaced all gaskets, seals and bearings.
- Replaced all ujoints in the drive line.
- Rebuilt the passenger side drive shaft and replaced bearings/seals/etc.
- Replaced drum brakes rear and side.
- Stripped and resealed the tub of the sidecar
- Obviously painted the sidecar.
- Added two 55W hella driving lights to the front
- Converted the headlight to an H4 bulb for ease of replacement.
- Added a 50mm ammo box to the underside of the sidecar. Waterproof extra storage for misc parts.
- Added riser bars from a KLR650
- Rebuilt the front disc brake with new pads and fluid.
- Rebuilt the carbs and tuned them
- added new air filters
- replaced sidehack shock.
- new gas tank and fuel lines
- Other parts: raised air intake, CCV mod, tool roll with original tools
...probably lots I am forgetting about.

Accessories:
- 2WD and Reverse gear selector. Makes it easy to slip into reverse and neutral
- New sidehack cover
- HID fog lights
- Skid plate and left side header bull bar.
-....lots more

The good:

- This is a well used, well loved bike. It's had tons of maintenance done it get's ridden around town for errands regularly.
- The paint job is a love it or hate it...I like it, haha.
- Did you see the list of stuff I have done in the last 18 months above???
- Starts easily, runs through all the gears easily.
- New clutch lever
- New rear view mirrors
- Checked all valve clearances.
- It has some FMF mufflers on high pipes that sound really good
- Because I know I will get asked: cruising speed on these is about 60-65. There are 4 forward gears and one reverse gear.
- This bike is obviously unique.

The Bad:

- Some of the tires are close to needing to be replaced.
- Some of the wheels could use a true and balance when replacing the tires.
- As with almost all Urals, the valve cover gasket weeps oil...that just comes with the territory. If these things arent weeping a bit of oil...they are out, haha. Just check the dip stick and keep a quart of fresh oil in the ammo box.
- the Neutral green light just stopped working. Easy fix but not a huge deal at the reverse lever makes it a no-brainer to get into neutral.

Price, well, I have been thinking about that. I would likely take less on this forum than something like CL or eBay. I am thinking somewhere in the neighborhood of $7K but open to ideas. Might consider a (partial) trade for a nice Land Cruiser or other 4x4 (no looking for a rock crawler and I prefer something with some years on it, haha).

I am sure there is lots I am forgetting. Please contact me with questions. philipsterling (at) gmail dot com
