I just read the 2nd time the epic trip report through Congo and decided to Share something in return. Even if it far from being so captivating.

Fantastic images. Ancient sites / ruins are one of my interests, thank you for sharing these images. Looks like it was a great adventure.
 
Thanks for sharing. Did you plan the off road portions yourself? or did you have some sort of guide? How was the drive to get to Istanbul, which countries did you drive through?

Yes. Most of it I planned myself. Just ordinary guide books. Nothing offroad specific.

But I had some GPS tracks. I mostly got them in french traveller forums. They seem to like turkey. :)
