Text/SMS savvy emergency roadside service?

I've asked this before, but it's been a while.

Does anyone know of an emergency roadside service (like AAA, Good Sam, your insurer, etc) that provides service via text messaging, or maybe via text from inside its own app?

I ask because first, text is more reliable with spotty cell coverage, and second, because things like the Delorme InReach do text.

And if you've even been in phone tree/hold hell with such services on the road in a marginal coverage area you know what a PITA voice is.

OnStar is rather expensive (although I dunno about OEM GM pricing). And it don't really see that it's much different for ERS than the other services, maybe less so. Many of the services (remote start, diagnosis, etc) are also only available to certain vehicles. And they have the same reception holes as your average cell provider. I'd prefer to have access to my existing ERS service via text.
