Finished the sleeping platform for now. It ended up being a little taller than I wanted making me think I might have to scrap the bunk part for now since I can't fit under it comfortably.



Kids think its great though, lol


And I FINALLY put a front driveshaft in, I got 4x4 now!

It didn't turn out too bad though considering its all scrap wood I've collected the past few weeks and the fact that I'm a terrible carpenter, lol.

Nothing wrong with using scrap wood, i have been repairing my lance with lots of scrap wood that I have lying around. I love the bunk idea. how much space is between the bed and bunk?

Not much. The lower platform turned out a lot taller than I hoped. It's no big deal with the single width bunk but with both it just ain't happening. I'm gonna look for some real low profile bins or make some, then cut the lower platform down as much as possible.

I aquired some bins(free) that fit under the bed but my spare axles still don't fit so I'll have to keep an eye out for one slightly longer. All this stuff was in a storage tool box I kept in my truck but now I'm gonna put that box on my trailer to carry straps and stuff.





I'm also hoping to pick up a Warn winch bumper here in the next few days.

37s Mud Grapplers, which are terrible at everything. I bought it based on how cool it looked, not knowing diddly squat about 4x4s at the time. I was about to start a 1 ton SAS when I sold it.

Certainly no big updates on the truck but I did manage to get me a new buggy and take the family out camping.





The "bunk bed" in the back didn't really work out since I'm too big to lay underneath it. So me and the wife stayed in the back on the bed platform and the kids stayed in the cab, which worked just fine since I got the two bench seats.

Just scored a winch mount/brush guard for my truck for what I think is cheap, $60. I hardly ever see these and when I do, they want too much money.
