So, back home and back to work.

I discovered meanwhile that the front floor was rotten, had to replace the wood frame and ended up reinforcing everything with checkerplate screw directly to the chassis.

Another thing that was worrying me was the roof vent, it was leaking badly and the winter is coming so needed attention. My wife decided to help me on the job... Best wife in the world :D

Hi,

Work continues.

After repairing the floor (and with vacation lesson learned) I decided to change things:

1st I build some overhead compartments to store light stuff

2nd I rebuild the bed area (not finished yet), lifting everything so I can get more storage area (to install water tank and batteries) and creating a dog space so I don´t have to step her everytime I get up from bed

Hello,

The project had stopped for some months (winter time here and a lot of work with the end of fiscal year) but I will restart now. First of all, I made a change on the pulling vehicle :D I sold my beloved Freelander and buyed a 96' Jeep ZJ

Hello,
Today was raining all day so I decided to do some interior mods. 1st I want to reduce (or at least control) weight so I gonna drill some holes on the new furniture (less weight and more air) between compartments like I already done on the top. Another mod was to change from 1 door to 2 individual doors for more easy acess.

Update:
Some parts are finally arriving, this weekend I will start to convert my manual water system into a electric, at this point, the water supply is done by a external 20lts Jerrycan, with a foot pump. The idea is to put 2x 40lts clean water tanks on both sides of the trailer, connected together (for weight distribution), powered by a 12v electric pump with a foot switch. Initially I consider a electric tap instead of the foot switch but when you wash dishes and so, you will ended up leaving the tap open for longer so the water waste is bigger. The water pump can manage 4L/min so, 80lts of water give me 20 minutes (continuous).

I can't wait to see your plumbing and solar setup! Slow and steady is the way to go on this build.

Hi,

New update.

Water system, finally I will start to put everything together.

WP_20160306_12_09_58_Pro_LI.jpg

The idea is to create a system that can be filled like a normal RV on any gas station or camping but with the additional possibility to be fill on any water source.

For that, I will use 2x 30Lts Jerrycans instead of a fix water tank, this way, if I need I can remove it to the jeep and fill it out somewhere else.

WP_20160306_12_06_17_Pro_LI.jpg

To fill them, I will put a water filler centrally on the front of trailer, this way I have easy access to it from both sides of the camper
