How does this sim-card work?

I assume you call on a different line and activate it with a C/C?

This one seems like a good deal but it is only valid for a month. I guess you can renew/recharge the card, however can you do this in BFE using that sim card and sat phone?

I doubt we'll use the phone more than a few minutes a month...hmmm.

Thanks!!

Both links are for a prepaid SIM card. The first link is simply an inactive SIM card. The second is for a prepaid 75 minute plan.

If you are only planning on using the phone for a short period and not planning on using a lot of minutes, then you would usually get better value out of the Basic postpaid plan. It is $50/month, includes 10 minutes and 10 SMS a month, and you can cancel at any time. Prepaid makes more sense when you want to keep the phone active for 6-12 months and/or use 200+ minutes.

Please compare with all of the plans you find here: http://ftp.ocens.com/downloads/documents/service_agreements/IR_SA.pdf
