Bed thickness in FWC Eagle?

I've read references to the mattress being too thin in a FWC Eagle. How many inches of space are there between the bed floor and the ceiling? I'm curious how thick of a mattress plus sheets and blankets I can fit in there.

there is probably 5-6". We have the stock mattress, a 1.5" memory foam pad, sheets, and a blanket on there right now. Pillows move down to bench when we drop the top.
Leaving in a few hours for a week with the camper in fact.

I've not measured it but I can sit up in bed and I'm 6'. I find the mattress thickness in my 2014 Eagle just right.

Thanks, Charlie, and sorry if I wasn't clear. I'd like to know how much room there is between the bed deck and the ceiling when closed. That will let me know how thick a mattress I can put in there.

Ah, there is 5 1/2" of space on mine. My mattress is 3" thick so there's 2 1/2" of space above the mattress, which is just enough room for me to leave my double sleeping bag on the bed.
