Did they have to make up custom brackets to allow the winch tray to sit flush with the bar?

I'm struggling to see how else they made up the tray to sit in that spot.

Yes, they had to make custom brackets. If you look in the photos, one of the finished efforts was one that I rejected - you'll notice triangular cutouts in the bumper cover - that wasn't really by design. They built a first set of bracket-arms that jutted out from underneath to hold the tray. The arms/brackets imagine two large steel bars were later cut flush behind the bumper and that gave us the final design. I'll see if I have an old original photo of the arms sticking out.

I have the winch A frame on mine, it was 3rd hand. Came with no bolts and upper brackets. The spot light mounting holes were hacked to hell and i can't get the spot lights to sit right just now with the bar due to this.
It did have the lower brackets but the 4 bolt hole covers were and still are missing.
Still cost me £200

Got a genuine external winch mount for it as well now.

Would 2nd the request for some extra pictures of the mount, and fixings.

I got the upper brackets from a Disco forum's online store for £25. Bolts came from my garage and i fitted mine with my mate who's a Land Rover Specialist. Fitted a high performance intercooler at the same time. ( TDV6 owner here. )

What did you use to cover up the bolt holes? One of mine fell off and from what I've heard the factory hole covers cannot by purchased separately.

Currently. Nothing!

Haven't found anything to fit the holes so left them. Not 100% happy with that but I've got used to it.

That's a nice setup.
Where did you order your A frame from? UK?
I've seen a few advertised with the image of the winch compatible but the part number for the non winch version.
LR005237 - is the non winch
LR005743 - is for the winch compatible.

Can anyone confirm this for me.
