I'm pretty sure the Interco offerings are about all there is for pizza cutters on 15s at this point. 16s open a couple of additional options, 235/85R16 is a 32x9.25 and 255/85R16 is a 33x10.

There are dozens of tire threads online discussing and addressing this exact question/topic, search a bit and decide for yourself. I myself have a set of 9 bfg 33x9.50 A/T KO's in storage to use as winter tires for the next 5-6 years, I started hoarding them a few years back after reading a lot of the existing threads online. As for current tires that meet your needs, aside from the Interco offerings there doesn't seem to be any that would fit your requirements as all are for a 16in wheel and are D or E load range and would kind of suck on a lighter vehicle.

I'm looking for 15" tires, 33" tall, but only 8 or 9 inches wide. I could go 9.5 or maybe even 10, but even 10" is more than I want.

I can find 33" tires 10.5" wide, but again, wider than I'd like.

Can anyone suggest a size and/or source?

BTW, the tires are for a 3500 lb vehicle. I would prefer to keep the 15" rims.

I have a 33X9.5 on 15" rim BFG MT as a spare tire. I got it because is light and wouldn't weigh too much on the back of my tailgate but side wall is very very very thin. I am not sure if they still make the tire or that size.

No, BFG hasn't made a 33x9.50R15 MT since they came out with the first "KM" branded tires probably about 12 years or so ago now (their sidewalls were still 3-ply though).

My spare spare is a BFG 33X9.50X15 KM with a date code 9/2012. They are no longer made, but I heard a few are still be around, but hard to find/make a set.

33x9.50R15? or 33x10.50R15? (or is it a KO, not KM?)

I can't recall ever seeing a 33x9.50R15 MT KM in a catalog listing, I recall what they did was simply upsize the width an inch when they came out with the KM line (I also recall there were others that weren't happy with the change either).

I have a BFG 33x9.50R15 MT spare myself, but it's from around ~2001 or so.

I got mine in 2001. I wouldn't recommend for anything other than a spare to get you off the trail or very lite wheeling.

Well, it got me off the trail twice, and neither were exactly what I'd call "very lite wheeling" lol.

IMO it's a good tire, it and it's 33x12.50R15 variants were a lot more durable than most tires that were available at the time (I'm sure some of today's tires with the tread that runs farther up the shoulder/sidewall area surpass it though).

Sorry, my spare is a 33X9.50X15 KO, not KM, that was made in 2012. The 9.50 fits the stock under frame mount perfectly and keeps good ground clearance for my needs.

I now have 33X10.50X15's KM's on my 60 and they work well. I wanted KO's, but they were not available for a couple of months.

About 3 months ago a buddy found 2 BFG 33X9.50X15 KO's at Tire Crawler. So a few may still be around.
