I've worked on these quite a bit. They are stout and capable, but would be a ton of work to make livable.

In the right market you MIGHT be able to recoup some of the purchase cost selling the pump, tanks, and various valves.

Remove everything behind the cab and you have quite a nice platform for a camper or shelter... just not going to have a walk-thru without some major surgery. Very low profile, though - you'll blend right in south of the border.

looking at the pictures again.
that would be a ridiculous amount of work... its' a rear engine rig... so that would take a large chunk of the rear quarters away.
all the systems on there including the plumbing would need to be removed... that would be an insane amount of work...

if you could pick it up for under 10k it might be worth the effort... but at 25k im sure there are much better alternatives.

Looks sweet, but how many gallons per mile does that get or does it come with a fuel tanker to follow behind it. Lol!
