How to get parts for 1aauto tow mirrors

The after market tow mirrors sold by 1aauto are good ones. Unfortunately, they only sell complete mirrors in pairs and no replacement parts at all. Should you need to replace parts (like glass that gets destroyed backing carelessly out of a garage), here's the answer.

The mirrors are made by Chris Cam Industry in Taiwan. Send an email to

cc@chriscam.com.tw

specifying which parts you need. In my case, it was upper and lower glass and backing plates for a non-heated power mirror. The specific mirror number can be found inside the case.

My first inquiry was sent Nov 11. After a couple emails back and forth, the whole process took less than a week and they sent them USPS. Got them today and exactly what I needed.

Total cost $49 and they take Paypal

This was excellent news for me to see - I just now need glass backing plates for Tacoma mirrors that (I recently discovered) Chris Cam made.

but after two emails to Chris Cam I haven't heard back - when was it that you did your whole back-and-forth with them?
