The truck may not be much of an adventurer anymore but I just bought something that can be. 2015 Haosen (RPS) Hawk 250. 3200 miles when the odometer stopped working. Needs a little work but it will make for a fun off road bike project. I'll start a thread on it in a little bit.

I think you've done right by your truck. A lot better looking and even more capable than when you started. The truck will go where you point it so point towards an adventure.

Hey I appreciate it. I've already got the truck under the knife going through some changes. It'll be more of an adventure truck at that point

Wow, almost two years since my last post. I've been busy with school and work, not much time for adventure. However, I was bitten by the adventure bug again.

The truck looks different now. It's stock with some 265/75r15 tires. It sits with 148000 miles and a few problems I need to work out. Stumbling from a stop, surging (not sure if that's the right word) below 1500 rpm, Hard to get started some mornings, rough idle with the AC on, AC doesn't currently work (I'm no expert, but I believe those two may be connected), brakes need work, wheel bearings need to be replaced (have a howling noise at 50 mph), possibly a rear axle rebuild (not sure on that one yet), various oil leaks, parking brake doesn't work, airbag light is intermittant, etc... Lots of little stuff. I've done some diagnosis with the stumbling/hesitation problem an believe it's a bad map sensor but still have a lot more to look into (fuel pressure, egr system). Anyways, here's the truck

Looking forward to being more active around here.

Very nice C1500!
My folks' family car was an '89 K1500 excab with a band of that shade of brown down the middle. They're good, honest trucks.
I like the heated mirror addition, that's a clever idea.
