OME Struts and Shocks for 07-16 Tundra - SOLD!

Fronts are fully assembled with top caps and washers. They are ready to install,
all you need is time and tools.

614 Springs (MED)

ARB says these are for a light load with the 5.7 engine and will provide 2.5" of lift.
They netted me just over 3.5" and weren't installed long enough to settle (less than 5K miles).

I will be happy to ground ship or deliver them to you on your dime.

I am selling because I gave me a set of Fox Racing Shocks for Christmas!

Thanks, Mr. King

FAQ

I have had several inquiries about the struts and springs and lots of questions.

There appears to be a lot of confusion about OME springs for the 2nd Generation
Tundra. Lets see if this helps a little.

Q: Are the 614s the Medium springs?
A: OME lists the 614 springs as 'light load' for the 5.7 Tundra.

According to the OME International Application Catalogue #29 June 2014
2612: Free Height - 415mm (16.34 in.) Spring Rate - 740 lbf/in
2614: Free Height - 425mm (16.73 in.) Spring Rate - 740 lbf/in
2613: Free Height - 435mm (17.13 in.) Spring Rate - 740 lbf/in
What this means: The weight capacity of the springs (loosely) is based
on the height of the spring available for compression. More weight = more compression.
More compression = less ride height. All three spring part numbers require the same
amount of weight to compress the spring a given amount.

Q: What else do I need to do a complete lift?
A: The front struts are completely assembled and only require tools and time for the install. Same for the rear shocks.
The rear of the Tundra, assuming you want a full OME system, requires:
OMEU53B - Old Man Emu U-Bolts (4) - $45.60*
CSO55R -OME Dakar Leaf Spring Set - $518.70*
FK32 - Old Man Emu Fitting Kit - $8.55*
You can also install OME shackles if desired.
The rear springs and u-bolt kit can be substituted with stock springs and appropriate length shackles and/or add a leafs (AALs). Regardless, I recommend the Fitting Kit to relocate the brake lines for proper droop of the suspension.

Q: Do you really think I need to install upper control arms (UCAs)?
A: Yes.
You are going to have to do a considerable amount of work to install the front suspension parts (or pay someone else to do it) and you will have to do an alignment. If you do not install UCAs and your alignment doesn't come in you will have to disassemble the
front end AGAIN and need to have an alignment done AGAIN.
Your time (or whoever you are paying for theirs) is expensive. Alignments are expensive.
Depending on which UCAs you choose, you may be saving $$$ by doing them up front, let alone the aggrevation.

I hope this helps more than it doesen't. Give me a shout if there is a question.
