I got my 2003 f150 crew lariat for 4000. Well sort of, I got it for free realistically in partial trade for a building I owned. The f150 is awesome for an adventure rig, TONS of room, More clearance than any of the new trucks, room for 33's with no rubbing without lifting (even though mine is getting a 2" for ****s and giggles.), interior is very comfortable. Mine came with a cap on the back so I have lots of dry storage for trips....room for my ATV for hunting, etc. Really good truck. Another good thing with the older f150s, is they are physically smaller than the new behemoths. better in the trails.
