I have an older external BT GPS unit - (doesn't support GLONASS) but this looks like a decent unit.
From the low reviews, they recommend a BU-353 as being more robust and easier to set up.

My tablet has built in GPS, but sometimes in certain valleys it doesn't get signal.

I use this in those times, and it has never let me down.

Every once in awhile the bluetooth acts up and you just have to turn it off and turn it on, but I am blaming that on my cheap tablet (the tablet is cheaper than this GPS receiver) because it also does the same thing with its wifi and the times I've tested it on my phone it has never happened.

I just use a cheap Bluetooth GPS module. got it for like 30 bucks off ebay and its awesome. Works great.
