I know some of you might've seen this, but I haven't thrown this in my thread yet.

My wife and I have decided that we need a break away from school, work, and our daily lives, and are committing to a small "expedition" to Southern Kentucky and back. So we'll be leaving Mid March, coming back later during that week. Expedition is in quotations since she's not a camp kind of person; we'll be hitting hotels and the Dale Hollow Lake Resort, as much as I wanted to test my mettle in camping and survival.

We'll be leaving here from Lexington, heading down to the Dale Hollow Lake resort, staying a few days, and then on the drive back up, we'll be hitting various landmarks, restaurants and sightings.

Kentucky South is where we're heading towards this time around, but are going to hit East, North and West sometime in the future. Check it out. We have some more planning and coordination for rooming, and itinerary, but lucky me, I love preparation and organization.

Also, we planned everything just this Tuesday.

3 Nights at the Dale Hollow Lake Resort + 2 Nights at Lake Cumberland Resort was less than $250. I told my wife that I'll afford the gas if she will pay for lodging.

Itinerary is as follows...

• Drive to Radcliff to drop off our pets at my wife's mom's house.
• Drive South to either Green River Lake, OR Mammoth Cave, undecided.
• Drive even further south to the TN & KY border at Dale Hollow Lake - Stay three nights
• Drive North East to Lake Cumberland Resort - Stay 2 Nights
• Drive even further North East to Great Salt Petre Cave
• Head back home to Lexington.

This mini expedition will be about 5-6 days, where we'll be hiking, exploring, visiting historic landmarks and trying out local eateries.

Pretty excited for it!

The filters did come in a a bit bigger, which was good, considering I was able to shape them correctly with the use of sharpies, tape and scissors.

These will be mounted to the front of the ARB, helping out the overheads when cutting through fog and snow.

Very nice! Selective yellow, good choice.

Thanks, man. I think so too!

I noticed that the bulbs are blue, and could contradict the output color. I'll hold off until they burn out to replace them with a yellow bulb.

I've got some H3 PIAA 55W Plasma Ion Crystal Yellows sitting in some lights I'm not using anymore. The lights were originally on the Xoskel roof bar in the center two tabs. The bulbs are yours if you want em, just pay for shipping.
