Matches 130: You said 3" lift including the tires right? So how much lift without? Also, "Second stop on the shocks." does that mean you can increase for more lift? I'm looking for 2.5-3" suspension lift before tires. I have a 2005 with KDSS. I'm thinking I might need to add a top spacer.

You can get more lift with stops on the shocks. There was two more notches to choose from. That set up gave me plenty of room for 285s. I wouldn't go any more due to the angles it would cause in the UCA ball joints and front CVs.

I purchased the IBS/DBS from Wil at Sierra Expeditions a few months ago and finally got around to putting it in. I first had to relocate the power steering reservoir to make room for the battery tray.

I needed longer hoses and I modified the OEM bracket to bolt it to the fender.
I then purchased a battery tray and was able to bolt it to the fender. It fit a group 24 battery with little room to spare. Here are the pics of the IBS install under the hood.

This is where I installed the monitor inside the car.

I did this to run power to the rear for the fridge, lighting and accessories. I used 6awg wire through a 40amp breaker that fed a 6 spot fuse block. I have 4 USB ports and two cigarette lighter style ports.

Would you mind sharing what tray you used/where you got it for your second battery? I have an 06 that I will be slowly working on and your photos of the install really made me rethink how I am going to tackle this part of the project.

As far as the lift, did you source everything individually? I have been thinking about going that route, seems like you pay a "convenience fee" from certain shops that have kits listed for these vehicles.

Today I installed the snorkel:
Wotefusi plastic rolling mold Car Air Ram Intake Snorkel Kit Set For Toyota Land Cruiser Landcruiser Prado 120 series Petrol 4x4 2002 2003 2004 2005 2006 2007 2008 2009 https://www.amazon.com/dp/B00F926VUW/ref=cm_sw_r_cp_tai_BGErybAC2A2WV
The install was pretty easy. I had to trim the snorkel some to get it to fit together against the fender but overall it fit great.

I'm really pleased with how it turned out.

I notice in your review you said you had to trim it. Can you explain where and how much was required?

It comes in two pieces, the outside snorkel part and an inner tube that connects the snorkel to the air box. The snorkel and the inner tube both have a lip on them to clamp the rubber hose too. The rubber hose connects the two pieces. That lip protruded too far on both pieces and wouldn't let the snorkel fit flush against the fender. I trimmed about 1/4" off of each piece to get them to fit correctly and have the snorkel fit tight against the fender.

I recently installed a set of specialty products UCAs #25480. The install was super easy. I will suggest using a ball joint separator tool to separate the ball joint from the spindle. I didn't and it took a lot of consign with a hammer to get them out. I purchased two new long bolts anticipating I may have to cut them to remove the OE arms but that wasn't the case. I simply had to move some stuff over to allow enough room for the long bolt to come completely out. I will note I had to loosen the factory battery and lift the tray about a half inch to allow the driver side bolt to come out. I simply installed the original bolts from the rear without any issues. My alignment shop was able to adjust the tires out so that the front tracks just as wide as the rear. With the OE arms the front was considerably narrower after the lift. They had no issues getting the alignment back into spec.

The new ball joint looks superior to the OE and easy to replace if I need to.
