Any updates? I'm about to have almost the same set up as yours be the end of next week. Did you adjust the front pre-load that the instructions mentioned when you're not laden with the front bumper/winch?
And bravo to the self install. I'm having a shop install mine.

Haven't posed in a while, but have made a bit of progress.

Managed to get the front end aligned. Guy said he couldn't get the camber fully to spec due to something with the lower control arms. It's not too far off and seems to drive just fine. I'll keep an eye out to see how the tire wears...

Worked on the ARB compressor install. Got a mounting kit from Slee that fits the larger double compressor. I decided to use the dead space for mounting an aux fuse box and associated breaker. Needed to fab up a bracket for the breaker which I mounted right to the side of the Slee bracket. It turned out pretty clean. It's been spray painted black - I now just need put it back together a finish up the wiring.

We're taking the LC and trailer to Idaho for a week of camping so I mounted up the Baja Rack I used to use with the Tacoma...Kind of looks small but it'll work...

Thanks! I ended up going with about 7mm of preload. If I remember correctly the manual calls for 0 to 5, but I went for a tad more just incase it sat too low. So far so good. Good luck with the set up - post up some pics post install. Cheers

Did an oil change - threw in some Mobile One full synthetic and a new OEM oil filter.

Also replaced those pesky plastic grommets with some hardware. Tapped the existing holes and used a few stainless steel bolts left over from the trailer build.

1500 + mile trip to Idaho with trailer in tow - 80 miles or so on the dirt. LC was great. Rode great on and off highway. A few pics below. I'll post more details about the trip on my trailer forum. Cheers

Looking great! I'm now subscribed to your build. I also have the Tundra TRD rims on my 09 LX570, good choice!

So I was getting a knocking clunk from my front driver's side area during suspension articulation. I pulled the wheel and checked everything. Noticed the upper control arm ball joint was in need of some grease. Thinking that was it I pulled the other side and greased that one too. While I was at it it I casually checked bolts etc I knew I removed when installing the suspension.

Put it back together and before I was fully out of the driveway I knew i hadn't fix it. Ahh..

Got out and tried to replicate it by jumping up and down on the side steps. Sure enough I could replicate it. Drove down the street to my neighbor's and had him jump up and down while i crawled under the car. Wasn't long before I pinpointed the problem. The lower sway bar bolt connecting the sway bar linkage to the lower control arm was loose enough to cause a cluck when forced upon.

Tightened that up - along with the other side and all was good! Victory!

Did the same on the other side and decided to rotated the tires and then called it a day.

Cheers,
