My last smittybilt was still working when I sold it I had it for 6 years and paid 300 bucks for it! It was an xrc8 I abused it on the farm just like i do my new 12,500 winch. I never had any issue getting parts from smitty, only thing I ever had to replace was the solenoid, they actually have a limited life time warranty and in my experience, stand behind their product.
