Grow Exploring - Our Family Adventure Videos

Hi everyone. We started putting together some videos of our family adventures. We've got 3 videos uploaded so far and have a couple more (Puerto Penasco, Mexico and Petrified Forest NP) in editing at the moment with another to shoot end of next week (rafting on the San Juan). We're primarily doing these for our family out-of-state but thought some other people could get some ideas and would potentially enjoy these as well. I'll try and post when we upload new videos. If you've got any questions, let me know.

For those vehicle enthusiast types - we've got a 1991 Ford Falcon Campervan that we bum around in on our trips. We did a little interior renovating/remodeling but it's a constant work in progress.

Great video - great forethought in setting up shots and nice editing! I like the fact that your video was not equipment focused - but rather just family focused!
How do you travel with 4 children like that in Car Seats?

Thanks for the message. The videos have been a lot of fun for the kids and their friends.

The dinette in back converts into two benches with two lap belts on each side. 3 of the kids are in booster seats normally and on the little one is still in a car seat. From what I've read, booster seats aren't supposed to be used with side facing lap belts and the kids are just supposed to use the laps belts without the boosters so that's what we've done. Unfortunately, the whole riding in the back of an RV isn't the safest option anyway so we're hoping to eventually get a double cab truck and build something on the back. In the meantime, we're hoping that having them in the back of the campervan is safer than in the back of cab/chassis type RV.

Great Family and the trips are worth a million! We had that same Van many years ago and almost the same four kids. I will attest your trips will be a bright spot in your children's life forever, hard to tell what will be talked about the most from Mom's great driving skills to you with that morning smell as you push north in your own life your children will reward you with these memories and all of that old stuff you drove.

Leave the high end wheels and payment books for someone else, the scraped knees and bumped heads will pass but are always the true part of life. I really liked watching the kids out and about not fearing everything they saw, hope to see more of your great travels!
