possible purchase of 94 LC

one of our company vehicles is a 94 LC, i have never seen it and i only know that it doesn't start, has 175k on it, and leaks a little oil.

i can have it for 500-1000$

what is there to be known about this year? and what are the usual factory options, motor.. lockers.. etc.?

I would jump on that if it were me. I would buy one of Marv's (Specter Off Road's) half cut 80 series and swap the drivetrain in. That would make a nice truck for not a whole lot of money.

Last time I talked to Marv, he had 2 1HZ/5 speed 80 series half cuts left and he wanted $7,500 for one.
