Yes it is Sky arm. I had them make the drag link a little long since I didn't have the arm to measure. and they are across the country, then I had to cut it down, and take about 1/4 of thread off one of the ball joints to make it fit. Now I know how long to have it made, I may go out and make myself a new one one day and go full hi steer.. But its not worth it to me now.

It rides like a dream. Can hit bumps at 65 without holding the steering wheel. and it keeps going straight. But I did break down and order some parts to shackle thru the frame from Ruff Stuff. Im also still waiting on wheels to pop up on Craig's list. T case and the rest will wait till fall. I need to get out an make some money before I head to Australia for Oct. Hopefully I will pull my trans and have it all rebuild and ready for when I get back. Hasnt been on a scale. Im more worried about how tall it is. I cant go thru most drive thrus anymore

I went with the 285 75 16. I did figure I have 7" of lift. but I still want to tow with it, and not regear. Mine has 4:10 in it with the diesel.

When I redid the shackles I left the 2* caster bushings in. Numbers are a bit off. And with the free alignment they won't take it apart and put them in. just turn the adjusters. so I brought it home with a cupon and put the zeros back in... I also ordered 1 1/4 that will be here in a few days. Im thinking I should put them in and rock it back even more than the 2* back I will get going back to factory. 13654301_10153292877449649_8734718051434672074_n.jpg

Other question. My leaf springs are 1/2" wider in the rear. Im debating on shimming or making an offset shackle for each side. I wonder if it is worth it.

I decided to go ahead and change the thermostat. Not sure if it needed it. It was starting to heat up a little climbing hills. And after 280k miles, I figure it was a good time to do it in the driveway, instead of on the road somewhere. The Alternator bracket was able to swing out of the way with only removing 2 bolts. Made it easier to align it to put it back. And I didn't knock the belt off all the pulleys!

For parts. I like to spray a little sticky on the gasket then put it on the part, not the block. Then later down the road when you swap it. It helps pull it off the block, and you can clean the part on the bench easier. Unless its like a waterpump. then your replacing it, so you don't need to clean the old
