Toyota Coaster alloy singles

We supplied our first set of forged 17x8 alloy singles to Enduroco.com for their 4wd coasters today!!:smiley_drive: will post some pic's when i get them.

are the fuso 5 stud wheels the same PCD as the coaster? I often wondered if they were the same.

Hi Coaster,
No the PCD is different, a coaster is 203.2

It always amazes me how engineers can come up with these stupid PCD dimensions. My FG84 has a PCD of 222.25mm.
Why can't they just use whole numbers?

203.2 mm is 8 inches and 222.25 is 8-3/4 inches..

I must admit, I did not think to convert these sizes to imperial. Probably because Japan, where both of these vehicles are produced, is a metric based country.
Go figure!

Usually if I see a strange metric (or imperial) measurement I do a conversion of it and it comes out to a more rational value. Most of the time.

Can't doesn't explain why there are so many different wheel PCDs... seems crazy that someone would make up a unique value for something as universal as a wheel rim unless there was a very special reason...
