Thanks for kudos. I didn't mean to throw so many past campsite photos in this thread. I just got a little carried away with fond memories of the Alstrom Point area.
If you want to see more I have two threads that cover my first Kimberley Kamper here: Brad's Kamper thread And my current Karavan here: Brad's Karavan Thread
Now on to all the other great campsites out there.
Rubicon Springs this weekend---
Wow, that looks like a great spot.
Rubicon Springs is a great spot to camp--- very clean- camped on solid granite. River and falls right there!!! Its a 'must do' for anyone that is capable of getting there (not easy).
Also camped at Loon Lake, and Buck Island Lake-- all along the Rubicon Trail. We spent 5 days up there!
I have never done the Rubicon but the scenery brings back memories of camping at the lakes along the Dusy Ershim trail in the Sierras. Awesome. Thanks for sharing.
Camping trip for the spring Uwharrie national partk, or Zuwharrie, if anyone is familiar with it, and another one just for fun
On top of Calispell Peak in northeastern Washington with the wife and dog. Who needs a tent?
Setting up camp near Rocky Mountain National Park:
Campsite in western Vermont. We use the tarp when there's rain.
