SOLD

I am selling because I have a unique opportunity for an upgrade. Trailer is based off of a M116A3 Military trailer platform and has been heavily modified to become a great offroad/overlanding trailer. It has been used on the following trips in the 15 months since its completion: Utah Border to Border, Baja Mexico, and the Idaho Border to Border route along with countless other trips both on and off-road. It is a proven platform with over 10,000 miles of use. Completed in May 2015. Fairly unique design based on the Turtleback trailer. I wanted to build a DIY version with a similar design.

Trailer Weight:
Just got the trailer weighed on a certified scale both empty and with all my stuff. Nearly bulked out as if I were doing a 2+ week trip.

Empty No Water - 1775
With 32 gallons water - 2040
With gear including 10 gallons of fuel - 2320
Trailer no tent or water - 1625

This puts my trailer within 100lbs of a base Turtleback trailer (single battery, stock tires). I'm very happy with that.

Issues:

- Plastic Ladder knobs tore off but you can still easily retract and extend the ladder.
- Small tear in RTT cover zipper fabric at beginning of the cover.

Another minor modification. The original design was going to have internal "boxes" on the top deck. When the plan changed I never removed all of the posts. The final post has been removed so a 24x48 will easily fit on the top deck. This trailer provides a lot of different options to store all of your gear!

Another minor modification was completed today. I swapped out the bulky taillights for new flat LED ones.

Don't worry all of the wires are tucked up properly. I was just testing everything.

I just spent the morning re-painting a lot of the interior bars to clean things up from use on the trail. Looking better than ever. Come take a look!

Still available. One deal fell through. Wouldn't you like to have a trailer like this for Labor Day Weekend?

New kitchen performed great. So nice having drawers to store items in! I successfully tested my 100 watt solar panel setup. With the trailer still connected to my truck the 100 watt panel has enough capacity to charge the vehicle battery and trailer battery at the same time.

These are the rims which will be included with the trailer.

Bump, still for sale. A new coat of bedliner is going to be applied this weekend (hopefully) just to touch everything up.

What are he dimensions Of the front doors? Are you willing to separate the tent and sell the trailer without it?

I just finished applying a new coat of Monstaliner on the trailer to clean things up after its many adventures.

The actual doors are 21 3/4" x 28 3/4" with the interior opening being around 21x28.

If you are local in Phoenix I would consider it but I would prefer to sell everything together or worst case the trailer without the tent.

Thanks
