Canon introduces EOS M5 mirrorless

They're making a lot of the same errors that Sony and Panasonic made with their mirror-less cameras about 8-10 years ago.

One of the "features" is you can touch the back screen to move the focus point even when looking through the EVF. In my experience that's called the "accidental nose/cheek focus stealer". That's the first thing you want to turn off (I hope it has that option).
Another "feature" is the always on bluetooth connection to the canon app on your smartphone, or what I call the "battery drainer". Shut that down too.

Sony's a6000 cameras are just so much ahead in refining the hardware I think I'd use those. Not to mention they're cheaper and I believe smaller. You just have to put up with the Sony software quirks.
The EOS M5 would have been a contender about 3-5 years ago, but canon still has a lot of catching up to do.
