    Default Springs and Nikon lenses...

I have a couple items I'm looking to pass on:

First would be a set of unused Deaver springs. I ordered a set for my 2000 Tacoma, but when I received them they were entirely to stiff and way too tall. I think the extra ride height was due to the stiffness, my truck simply didn't weigh enough to compress the springs as much as they were designed to be. When I mounted them, they were roughly a 10" lift and with 5 people sitting on the tailgate they didn't drop but half an inch, if that. I don't really have an asking price for them, just make an offer, buyer pays shipping. Don't have anything really in mind, but I would be willing to accept trades as well.
As a side note on this, Deaver Springs was very helpful and immediately made a new set of leaf packs and shipped them off to me with no questions asked (and I'm extremely happy with the new springs, they are AWESOME!)

Second item is an AF-S Nikkor 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6GII ED ( http://www.nikonusa.com/Find-Your-Ni....6G-ED-II.html ). This lens was the kit lens for my camera, but I ordered two other lenses with it, so I have never used this one (took the lens out of the box, took a couple pictures to confirm it worked, and put it in my Peli case, and haven't touched it since). Asking price is $90+ shipping insurance if so desired.

Third item is an AF-S Nikkor 55-200mm 1:4-5.6G ED VR ( http://www.nikonusa.com/Find-Your-Ni....6G-IF-ED.html ). This is an awesome lens, with nothing wrong with it, and not a single blemish. I have used this lens a a few times in the 6mo since I purchased my camera, and the only reason I want to sell it is because I want to upgrade to a 70-300mm VRII, I have no complaints about this one. Asking price for this one is $175+ shipping insurance if so desired.

Fourth item is the 52mm filter set for these two lenses. It is a Tiffen filter set containing a Digital Ultra Clear, Haze-1, Haze-2A, Circular Polarizer, Enhancing, and 812. All filters are in perfect condition with only the Ultra Clear and Hase-2a being used. Asking $70 for the lot.

I am willing to pay shipping to anywhere in the Continental US and probably Canada for the camera items. The springs are 60lbs each, as weighed by UPS when they were shipped to me.

10" of lift?!?! How did they miss by that much? How many leaves are there in the pack? Do you think it would be possible to remove a couple to relieve some of the stiffness/ride height. I am in desperate need of some new rear leaves so I wonder if I could make them work. Thanks for any input you can provide. I'll also pm you about pricing. Thanks,

I think it was only that high because of the stiffness. If I had a truck as heavy as they were designed for, I suspect it would have dropped down quite a bit. i know they can be re-arched to lower them, I don't know about removing leaves though. I will ask around and see what people say. There are 10 leaves (the replacement they sent me still has 10, but they are thinner).
