Leaf Spring Pads/Shims

After 20k miles of highway and a decent dose of backroads/trails my leaf springs have ejected the little polymer (delrin?) shim disks that separate the leafs and it squeaks. I hate squeaks.

I spray them down with lithium grease, which helps, but still sucks. Is there a non-obvious solution I'm missing? I'm thinking about heavy grease via needle but don't love the idea. Perhaps over-tight spring keepers? Any wisdom would be greatly appreciated.

What springs are you running?
I would use some sort of dry lube such as graphite. It won't attract and hold dirt like grease.
Are you losing the pads at the ends, or in the center of springs?

Call Eaton Spring in Detroit. They sell all kinds of extra duty Teflon spring pads.

Thanks for the tips! I hadn't thought of graphite, wonder if it will stay put. Yes, the pads at the ends wiggle out. I wonder if thicker shims will stay in place longer.
