2013 Ram 2500 for light Off-Road Duties

The SCR Catalytic converter has to be replaced. Its getting replaced under warranty.

The service guy at Larry H Miller in Riverdale, UT said they are having lots of issues with the SCR cats. The new ones they are installing delete the Ammonia sensor. He said this cuts down on the use of DEF in the system and will let the truck run longer. He also said after replacing the SCR they haven't had anymore issues. He said the DPF hasn't been causing any issues so far. Good to know.

Ok one more annoying thing I had the fix. The back seats don't fold forward so I was losing lots of storage area.

The megacabs allow the seats to flip forward. So why not the crew cabs. Who knows.

I found others were staking washers so they will fold forward. I thought there was a better way.

So I unbolted a seat and decided to trim down the retaining hooks. This way when you pull up the bottom it pushes up the upper part enough to unhook and come forward. But not unhook unless you lift the bottom cushion.

I take my seats out for big trips, combined with a diy flat floor, the space gain is HUGE.

You won't get more travel out of new shocks unless you get the supporting suspension parts.

Get a thuren active rate sway bar and discos won't be needed.

Thurens active sway bar is now delivered with disconnects, i just get one. Its made like the JKS for Jeeps.
