Mercedes Vario Engine Chipping

I have just been looking on the web and found a company, that has agents world wide, and claim they can remap the Mercedes Vario ECU.

QUANTUM REMAP claim they can get 25% increase to 170 BHP and 16% in Torque

I wondered if anyone has used these and if there is any feed back on them?

There seems to be a depot local to me in Milton Keynes. UK

I Used the Quantum remap. I did mine through a guy in Barnstaple. The process is basically simple. Remove eco from engine, open ecu, connect ecu board to laptop and connect laptop to Quantum server, Quantum then flash the ecu and replace the map with there own. The chap then replaced the board, resealed the ecu and refitted to engine. ...... The result is amazing...... Just don't ever allow your local merc agent to try and update the ecu as it will remove the Quantum mapping.

Andy did you go for 170 BHP ? what did it do to the fuel consumption?

I had a land Rover with a ecu upgrade and the dealer did a plug in, and wiped it out!!

when I get the Vario back I think I will go for it.
