1972 VW Bus $500 in Denver
I have this bus sitting in my Dad's garage taking his parking space and he wants me to get it out. I agreed to buy it from a friend when I moved back home to Denver in Feb, I ended up taking an out of town job and just haven't had time to do anything with it. I wanted to build it up as an economical alternative to my Land Rover Disco, but ended up buying an '85 Toyota that I like a little better. So I have to let this one go. I am selling it for exactly what I have into it. It has a clean Colorado Title. It is actually pretty rust free, out of 30 or so busses that I have had in the last 8 years, this is probably the second most rust free. It is a 7 passenger, still has the middle seat in it. The front seats are pretty bad. The windshield needs replaced. Somebody has broken a couple of windows out of it. The left rear, the rear, and the front right. I think I have enough glass to do everything but the windshield. It has a 1.7l correct motor in it but not sure of the condition or originality of it, it does have some aftermarket carbs but can't remember which setup, haven't even had enough time to try and start it. The guy I bought it from didn't know much about it either. I am only asking $500 for it and this is the only place I have advertised it so far. These are the photos that the guy I bought it from sent me right before he delivered it in April of this year. They are all I have of it so far.
