Default Basic Sleeping Platform build for 1985

Measured this to barely clear the wheel wells. I keep wet wetsuits, camping gear and firewood underneath so far. I need to go find the perfect size toolbox to make it all worthwhile.

Cut up 4 cheapo sleeping pads to cover the top. Then carpeted the whole thing with Home Depot econo-carpet. It is comfortable enough, but you can never have enough headroom.

I like the versatility/convenience of canvas tool bags & tool rolls.

As far as sleeping goes, a few more of those Sierra Nevada Pale Ales and you'll sleep like a baby.

    Default Canvas

Yeah I have some tools rolled up. But there are always those tools with akward shapes that need a drawer or a box.
I just need to get down to the store with a measuring tape.

Nothing like a project in the sun with good company and a few green labels!

Pretty sick! This is my project this weekend. What did you use to re-seal the shell? Just the foam tape?
